After completing a business course in 2018, she laid the groundwork for the foundation, which officially began operations in 2019. The name "Legacy" reflects the foundation's commitment to building a meaningful inheritance of knowledge and opportunity for future generations.

• Scholarships: The Legacy Foundation has awarded over 60 scholarships to graduating seniors in Central New Jersey, facilitating their transition to higher education. Scholarships include the Westry G. Horne Memorial Scholarship and others aimed at recognizing academic excellence and community service.

• Educational Opportunities: The foundation offers programs such as The Star Program, which supports high school seniors by guiding them toward collegiate success. Participants in this program are later transitioned to the Gold Program for college students, providing continued support through their educational journeys.

• Community Engagement: The Legacy Foundation actively partners with local organizations, including the Netherwood Tennis Club and the Plainfield Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., to broaden its impact and create a network of support for various community initiatives.
