We are a global organization of medical, dental and research professionals who share our mission of investigating and communicating safe science-based treatments to promote whole body health. This involves protecting the well-being of the public and the environment. We accomplish this by raising awareness of the biocompatibility of dental materials, including funding and promoting relevant research, accumulating and disseminating scientific information, investigating and promoting non-invasive scientifically valid therapies, and educating medical professionals, policy makers, and the general public. Many of the IAOMT's projects are part of our Environmental and Public Health Campaign (EPHC), which has already brought biological dentistry principles to thousands of dentists and hundreds of thousands of patients around the globe. Furthermore, our EPHC has protected millions of acres of wildlife from dental pollution. As part of our EPHC, the IAOMT is dedicated to sharing information about the potential harms of dental mercury and fluoride.
