Friends Center is the Quaker hub for peace and justice in Philadelphia. Friends Center Corporation nurtures awareness of the presence of God, enlivens work for peace and justice, and invites the highest aspirations of the human spirit as an expression of the beliefs and testimonies of the Religious Society of Friends, also known as the Quakers. Friends Center promotes peace, social equality, and stewardship of the earth in Philadelphia and throughout the world through its stewardship of and outreach from its campus at 15th and Cherry Streets in Center City Philadelphia. Friends Center supports its equity partners--the American Friends Service Committee, Central Philadelphia Monthly Meeting of the Friends, and Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of Friends--and welcomes additional organizations whose missions complement or advance the missions of the partners.

Our historic Quaker Meetinghouse and our LEED Platinum nonprofit office building provide space in Center City Philadelphia for Quaker and likeminded community organizations to meet work and collaborate. HOURS Weekdays 7 am 7pm CLOSED Saturdays except by prior reservation for events Sundays 10 am 1 pm. Join Central Philadelphia Monthly Meeting of Friends Quakers for hybrid meeting for worship on Sundays at 11 AM with inperson and online options.
