AEIOU provides to daycare centers and school age programs an on-site literacy program where computers and other material will be used by children. The African Empowerment Intelligence Organization for Unity Inc. A.E.I.O.U. Our mission is to work with children in low-income areas and teach them how to use educational technology devices i.e. tablets and laptop computers in order to bridge the digital divide. We increase early literacy skills by using phonemic awareness, phonics, phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency in order to close the literacy gap. A.E.I.O.U. is a nonprofit organization that works with daycare centers and early childhood development programs in and around Chicago and throughout Illinois. We provide supplemental technology and hands-on literacy programs.
