Through education, advocacy and support, CCMH is dedicated to increasing awareness and decreasing stigma of mental illnesses among children and adolescents. CCMH is dedicated to increasing awareness of mental health disorders and illnesses among children and adolescents. Our goal is to promote early intervention and to prevent the physical, emotional and social consequences of the failure to treat mental illnesses. CCMH works to reduce stigma and increase understanding and treatment of mental illnesses. To do this our mission is to -Educate: Increase the understanding of behavioral and emotional disorders in children, youth and to promote mental wellness for all. -Advocate: Raise awareness of mental health issues and decrease the stigma of mental illness. -Support: Provide families coping with mental health issues with area resources and enhance connections in the community.

Coalition for Children39s Mental Health Educate Advocate Support About Who we are. The Coalition for Childrens Mental Health based in Hudson Ohio is dedicated to increasing awareness of mental health disorders and illnesses among children and adolescents. Our goal is to promote early intervention and to prevent the physical emotional and social consequences of the failure to treat mental illnesses. By encouraging the entire community to support youth who suffer from these disorders along with their families the Coalition works to reduce stigma and increase understanding and treatment of these disorders often referred to as mental illnesses.
