Pacific Northwest Hospice Foundation
We utilize donated funds to grant Gifted Wishes to hospice patients. We grant Gifted Wishes to hospice patients, create awareness of hospice and support end of life care. The types of wishes we fund cover matters of the heart for those in need, like plane fare for flying in a relative, playing music at a patient's bedside, or paying for a romantic dinner for a loving couple who have to say goodbye. We have sent massage therapists to help with pain, helped with bus fare so that relatives could visit more frequently, provided medical transport for patients to attend important events like a daughter's wedding, and gifted memory foam mattresses for pain. We fund within hours, knowing how a hospice patient's status can change at any moment.
