Airport Assistance Center dba Travelers Aid Dallas/Fort Worth, a United Way agency, was formed in 1974 to be a source of assistance and social services to the patrons and employees of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport community. A member of Travelers Aid International, Airport Assistance Center acts as a link to social service agencies in the DFW area while providing direct assistance to clients facing travel related difficulties or crises. Many clients live in the DFW area, while others are travelers.
