POPPA is a volunteer peer support network committed exclusively to providing a confidential, safe and supportive environment for police officers and their families. Operating 24 hours a day, every day of the year, POPPA assists officers and their families in coping effectively with stress related to the law enforcement profession. We are dedicated to preventing and reducing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, marital problems, substance abuse, and suicideUtilizing peers and a professional mental health network, POPPA reduces the gap between essential support services and officers' access to these services.
