Flatlands Dance Theatre invites audiences to experience In Color, an evening of live dance, music, poetry, and visual art exploring the meanings, connotations, and worlds we imagine and the senses we experience more vividly through color. Through artistic collaborations across genres, we interpret the colors of nature, we reconceptualize connections between color and emotion, and we delve into metaphorical meanings of color such as painting the town red, passing with flying colors, feeling green with envy, and having the blues. Featuring live performances from the Texas Tech University School of Music faculty and many other local guest artists and writers, In Color is a celebration of creativity, imagination, and innovation in artistry. In Color will be presented on Friday, March 28th and Saturday, March 29th at 7:30 pm in the Firehouse Theatre at LHUCA (511 Avenue K). Ticket prices include a $3.00 Select-a-Seat surcharge, and are $25 general admission and $15 for seniors, children, and students with ID.
