Old Songs, Inc., centered in the New York State Capital Region, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to keeping TRADITIONAL MUSIC & DANCE alive through the presentation of festivals, concerts, dances and educational programs. Old Songs, Inc. is a unique not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving the community by presenting traditional music and dance year-round through festivals, concerts, contra dances, classes, and other educational programs. Old Songs consists of volunteers and staff working together to create events that expose new audiences to traditional music and dance. We provide professional opportunity for artists by presenting new talent and known talent, local talent and international talent. We partner with other community organizations on educational, historic preservation, agricultural, and other programs. Through fostering traditional music and dance in today's lives, this participatory artistic and cultural expression is kept alive for future generations.
