Greetings Friends, We are excited to announce DMIW’s 2nd annual Cornhole Tournament May 4th, being held at Johnny’s Pizza on Hamilton Mill. We’ll have Cornhole, vendors, live music, BHS Art Contest winners, raffles, prizes, great good and drink, and a whole lot of fun! It costs just over $4500 each month to keep the doors open, the lights on, and successfully operate DMIW. While we are grateful for our community partnerships, as a community center who relies on donations 100% for operating costs, it simply is not enough to sustain us without our two-yearly fundraisers. We would love to expand upon what we offer and continue to grow to meet the needs of our community. By the time the Cornhole tournament rolls around, just 9 months after opening its doors, the center will have helped approximately 550 people through meetings, classes, group, peer or direct support, plus an additional 250 student-athletes. Amazing!! Here are some ways that you can help us: 1- Register your Team of TWO PLAYERS to play Cornhole. $40 team donation. And/Or 2- Become a Vendor at the event to promote your business. $75 Vendor donation. And/Or 3- Become a Business Sponsor to be promoted at the event. $500 Sponsor donation. And lastly, 4- Come, bring your family and friends. Promote the tournament on your social media, through email and post the flyer.
