THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO MANAGE THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND. THE FUND EXISTS TO ENDOW IN PERPETUITY MONIES WHICH ARE FOR THE EXCLUSIVE PURPOSE OF INSURING THAT THE STRUCTURAL, ARCHITECTURAL, AND AESTHETIC QUALITIES OF THE BUILDING AND THE SURROUNDING CHURCHYARD WILL CONTINUE TO BE ENJOYED BY PEOPLE OF ALL FAITHS AND TRADITIONS FOR SUCCEEDING GENERATIONS.

COLUMBA39S HISTORIC PRESERVATION TRUST Peace of the Past As many a passerby has discovered its hard not to be spellbound by the beauty history and tranquility of St. Columbas the Berkeley Memorial Chapel and its grounds. The cornerstone of the small stone church originally named for the noted philosopher and prelate was laid in 1885.
