About the AIWA The UNIFIED Voice of the Waterway The Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway AssociationAIWA is a national nonprofit organization founded in 1999 with the mission of securing funding and support for the maintenance of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway AIWW. We proudly represent all the stakeholders of the waterway and are the only organization dedicated to ensuring the future of the AIWW. The Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway extends more than 1100 miles from Norfolk VA to Key West FL. Some lengths consist of natural inlets saltwater rivers bays and sounds others are manmade canals.
