WHITEFISH COMMUNITY GARDEN INC
Whitefish Community Garden provides raised bed gardens & support for individuals and families to cultivate organic vegetables and fruit. We support the Whitefish North Valley Food Bank with harvest from the garden. WCG is a 501(c)(3) non profit. In addition to our 43 beds for individuals & families, we plant 6 beds for food bank harvesting, offer 3 scholarship beds, and have community beds of asparagus, herbs, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries & flowers. Our members volunteer 6 hours per season outside of their own bed and assist with the food bank harvests. 2018 will be our 10th year of growing food & cultivating community. We have supplied over 2,500 lbs of fresh produce to the food bank since 2015 and our member families grow an abundance of fresh food in their 4' x 12' beds.
