Praised by Stewart Brand as “one of the best origin stories ever told and the best account I've seen of how innovation actually occurs in computerdom,” his work, such as Earth: A Primer (a science book made of interactive toys), have been featured by Wired, CNN, and the New York Times. Gingold began his design career as an apprentice to Will Wright on Spore, where he led the creation of the critically acclaimed Spore Creature Creator.
