ANNOUNCING April's Simulation Session, our free monthly event series facilitated by the World Engines Lab, helping sustain our local community of 3D designers, artists, and technologists! 📅 Monday, April 21 | 6PM This month, we’re thrilled to welcome Chaim Gingold, author of "Building SimCity: How to Put the World in a Machine." Praised by Stewart Brand as “one of the best origin stories ever told and the best account I've seen of how innovation actually occurs in computerdom,” his work, such as Earth: A Primer (a science book made of interactive toys), have been featured by Wired, CNN, and the New York Times. Gingold began his design career as an apprentice to Will Wright on Spore, where he led the creation of the critically acclaimed Spore Creature Creator. Bring your projects and ideas to share and workshop them with fellow Gray Area members, creators, and world builders. As always, drop by anytime between 6 – 9pm!
