World of Color
One Million Lights is a non-profit with a goal to distribute 1 Million environmentally friendly, re-chargeable solar lights to adults and children in rural parts of the world. These solar lights are replacing polluting and dangerous kerosene lamps. With appropriate lighting, children can study at night and adults can extend their work day. In addition, One Million Lights is bringing back learnings about the cultural, socio-economic, environmental and service learning aspects of these distributions to share with our own community here.
