Non-profit group of volunteers who support the E&CC Animal Shelter & are building low cost S/N clinic We are a 100% volunteer-run, non-profit organization that uses your donations, organizes fundraising events, and gets grants to: (1) Help the government-run Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter by: funding and project managing specific building improvements, such as enclosing the outdoor dog kennels last year, and providing funds for medical care for injured, abused, and senior animals in the shelter when their budget doesn't cover it. (2) Build, and will run, a low cost Spay/Neuter Clinic in Elizabethton to reduce the over-population of cats and dogs. (3) Help local pets through: Twice yearly low cost Vaccine Clinics, A Pet Pantry, Educating and increasing community awareness about need to spay/neuter and stop animal cruelty.
