CSMA is pleased to host a preview exhibition featuring a selection of artwork from Silicon Valley Open Studios 2025 artists in our Sobrato Gallery. Presented by Silicon Valley Visual Arts, the SVOS events held annually in May provide the opportunity for local artists of all levels to connect with the public through open studios, sell their art, and help promote the local art community. This exhibition features 2D work from 20 local artists in a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, printmaking, and assemblage. Music and multimedia will merge as composer and violinist Chad Cannon performs and raises awareness about the earth's oceans at 7:30 PM on April 12. Cannon will present “Music for the Ocean,” a free community concert featuring a set of new compositions and improvisations by Cannon, accompanied by pianist Hui Wu. The program builds empathy with and concern for the ocean by telling science-based stories about sound and marine life through music.
