Big Brothers Big Sisters of Helena & Great Falls Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Montana Youth Mentoring LifeChanging Friendships As the nations largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network Big Brothers Big Sisters supports life changing friendships between professionally screened adult volunteers Bigs children Littles. The single most common factor for children who develop resilience is at least one stable and committed relationship with a supportive parent caregiver or other adult. Center on the Developing Child Harvard University That at its core is what we do at Big Brothers Big Sisters. Our program impacts youth by providing them with a mentor that helps them navigate a broad spectrum of risk behaviors and factors including depression and suicide delinquency substance abuse teen pregnancy and school dropout.
