Colonel Benjamin Tallmadge Chapter, NSDAR Founded in 1890 the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution NSDAR is committed to preserving the memory and spirit of those who contributed to American independence. The four women who founded the DAR helped to form the DARs lasting mission of promoting three key areas of historic preservation education and patriotism. We are a nonprofit nonpolitical womens service organization. Our chapter named for spymaster Colonel Benjamin Tallmadge was reorganized in the Bronx New York in 2016.
