ASYV ADVANCES HOLOCAUST EDUCATION, RESEARCH, DOCUMENTATION, AND COMMEMORATION BY OFFERING PROGRAMMING DESIGNED TO ENGAGE A BROAD COMMUNITY OF CARING INDIVIDUALS TO LEARN ABOUT THE HOLOCAUST, DISTRIBUTING BOOKS AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS ADDRESSING THE HOLOCAUST, AND ENGAGING IN OTHER ACTIVITIES INTENDED TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE HOLOCAUST AND MEMORIALIZE ITS VICTIMS. IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, ASYV MAY DISTRIBUTE FUNDS TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS OF OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, AGENCIES, AND INSTITUTIONS THAT ENGAGE IN HOLOCAUST EDUCATION AND REMEMBRANCE ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO YAD VASHEM, THE WORLD HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE CENTER.
