But they deserve access to good books, all the time. There should be no barriers to reading. Founded in 2011, the all-volunteer Pageturner Project promotes the love and power of reading by providing Kindles and an unlimited library of books to elementary, middle, and high school students in Oakland and the Bay Area.

Pageturner - A Non-Profit Promoting the love of reading Pageturner promotes the love of reading by providing Kindles and an unlimited library of books to elementary middle and high school students in Oakland and the Bay Area. A nonprofit organization Pageturner is run by an amazing group of volunteers in partnership with dedicated teachers who care deeply about their students and the power of reading. Since Pageturners inception in 2011 more than 1000 generous supporters from around the world have donated 4236 Kindles and 3405 ebooks. So far 5163 students and 185 teachers have participated in the program.
