Lincoln Heritage Resource Conservation Development Providing leadership in resource management and economic growth of the citizens agencies and organizations who are already working hard to improve the quality of life in East Central Illinois Controlled Burns The Lincoln Heritage RCD assists landowners with controlled burns on grassland and woodland acreage. Pollinator Habitat The Lincoln Heritage RCD collects and dispenses milkweed seed pods and promotes the planting of habitat for the monarch butterfly and other atrisk pollinators. Forestry Woodlands The Lincoln Heritage RCD hosts workshops and workdays to promote the management and value of the woodlands in East Central Illinois. Since 1993 Our Purpose The Lincoln Heritage RCDs purpose is to pursue funding for projects not covered by other sources help planning groups solve common problems and help germinate new ideas that will provide expanded opportunities for rural residents.
