Autism, depression, high anxiety or stroke, our promise is simple... Horses Heal Humans. Our mission is to harness the healing power of horses to improve lives. NMET is dedicated to using the healing nature of horses as a therapeutic tool to enhance independence, self-confidence, and quality of life for individuals living with physical disabilities or mental health needs. We also strive to ensure that when clients and their families set foot in the barn, they feel welcomed and cared for. For many of our clients, their experience with NMET goes beyond therapy - they grow to love their therapy horse, gain trust in their therapist and volunteers and feel like they are part of the NMET family.
