Pittsburgh Playback Theatre's mission is to validate lived experiences in a way that increases each individual's sense of community as well as respect for our shared humanity. Through specifically developed improvisational techniques, we conduct workshops and performances that highlight listening to and validating each story without judgement and with the goal of creating greater understanding and respect for one another. As a company, we work collaboratively with the audience in creating an atmosphere of healing, learning and creativity.
