Ovar Coming Together Inc is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer in Indiana. Founded in 1995 by three women undergoing chemotherapy, the organization aims to provide support, education, and awareness about ovarian cancer.

Founding and History

Ovar Coming Together was established when its co-founders, Kai Binford, Pam Faerber, and Nancy Hines, recognized the lack of resources available for women with ovarian cancer. This realization prompted them to create an organization that would eventually become a founding member of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. Today, it remains a Partner Member, enhancing its local efforts with national support.

Ovar Coming Together also provides H.O.P.E. packets to newly diagnosed women, containing essential resources and information.
