Fund for UCAP

Follow Message Edit

An independent middle school where the possibilities are endless for our students. The mission of The UCAP School is to intervene in the lives of middle school students who are at risk of not graduating from high school. We provide relevant curriculum and enrichment opportunities to support the academic, social and emotional development of our students to ensure a successful transition from middle school to high school. We stress the importance of taking responsibility, having high expectations, setting goals, completing high school, working hard and having fun.

Fund for UCAP

The Fund for UCAP is a nonprofit organization in the United States, designated as a 501(c)(3) entity. Its mission aligns with educational and charitable purposes, although the specific focus of the organization is not readily detailed in public records.

Financial Operations

The Fund for UCAP derives most of its revenue from contributions, which account for a significant portion of its income. For instance, in one year, contributions comprised about 97.1% of its total revenue, while investment income made up the remainder[1]. The organization has no reported program services revenue and does not engage in professional fundraising or executive compensation[1].

Assets and Liabilities

The Fund for UCAP has substantial assets, with total assets recorded at approximately $4.83 million in one financial period. The organization maintains minimal liabilities, reported at about $3,640 in the same period[1].

Governance

The governance structure of the Fund for UCAP includes key roles such as president, treasurer, secretary, chair, and vice chair, along with several board members. However, detailed information about the specific roles or accomplishments of these positions is not readily available[1].

Relationship with Other Entities

It appears that there might be confusion with another entity, "UCAP," which is not directly related to the Fund for UCAP. Other organizations with similar acronyms, such as "United Communities Against Poverty" or "Ukraine Children's Action Project," operate independently and have different missions and focuses[2][4]. The UCAP School, another separate entity, also uses the UCAP acronym but is focused on educational activities[5].
