CAS promotes celestial exploration and camaraderie among its membership with instructional programs, observing facilities, and exceptional telescopes. For the Community o We will be a resource of astronomical expertise. o We will promote scientific literacy. o We will foster critical and analytical thinking skills. For our Members o We will increase our members’ sense of community through social engagement. o We will grow our membership and increase the number of our active volunteers to meet our mission and sustain us in perpetuity. o We will continue to carry forward the legacies of our founder DeLisle Stewart.
