Programs include: Adoption, Mentoring, Child Care, Foster Care, Real Relationships, Nurturing Program, Relatives As Parents Program, and PA Pre-K Counts! Children's Aid Society was founded in 1890 to assist orphaned and abandoned children. Our mission is "to improve the quality of life of children and their families”. We served 1,420 children and adults in 2021 We have 35 full-time and 28 part-time employees, and 18 dedicated board members. Collaboration has been a key word in recent years for Children's Aid Society. We are active in many local organizations and volunteers are an important part of our programs. There are dozens of Youth Mentoring volunteers and many return each year to help raise money at our annual Shoot For the Magic fundraiser. We greatly appreciate the support we have received from contributions and grants and hope we can continue to make our communities a brighter place.
