Very glad that today The Guardian has published investigative reporting supported by Brighter Green's Animals & Biodiversity Reporting Fund on the huge costs of mega-"farms" housing thousands of pigs and chickens for animals, water (cenotes), forests, and Indigenous communities in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Most people mostly know the Yucatan for gorgeous beaches and ruins -- a perfect vacation spot. Stories like this need more attention and illumination.
