Stephanie Becker, our Executive Director, just returned with new knowledge and fresh perspective from Knoxville, TN after attending the 2025 ImpactED Conference. Hosted by the National Association for Education Foundations (NAEF), this annual conference offers training for staff and board members from education foundations across the country. At the conference, Stephanie was also recognized for completing the Certified Education Foundation Leadership (CEFL) program. This 8-month, cohort-based program concluded in November 2024 and covered six domain areas ranging from Leadership and Planning to Resource Development. Stephanie's 21-person cohort represented 11 states and is the largest cohort class since the program's inception. "The CEFL program helped me to think more expansively about our work. It also made me incredibly proud. What we are doing in Great Falls is unique and powerful, and it is not happening at this level in other communities. I am grateful to be in a community that cares deeply about education and allows us to do great things through their support." (fb)
