Friends of Ethiopian Jews (FEJ) supports Ethiopian Jewish organizations and programs in Israel with a focus on education, employment, equity and changing the public narrative. FEJ supports organizations and programs under the control and leadership of Ethiopian Israelis themselves, and currently assists 12 Ethiopian Israeli-led programs, groups and projects.

Friends of Ethiopian Jews Friends of Ethiopian Jews Welcome The crisis in Israel since October 7 2023 has deeply affected the 16500 Ethiopian Jews in Israel as it has all of Israel and the Middle East. Many Ethiopian Israeli young men and women 80 of young Ethiopian Israeli men and 60 of young Ethiopian Israeli women serve in the Israeli military and the impact on the community is huge. In addition over 250 Ethiopian Israelis families are still displaced and living in temporary quarters for nearly 16 months now and they are still in need of assistance. Mental health counseling and resource referrals also continue to be essential.
