After quarantine and careful evaluation, we place them in safe and suitable homes as riding and companion horses.

Welcome to MidAtlantic Horse Rescue Nestled in the rolling fields of Eastern Maryland along the banks of the Sassafras River there is a permanently preserved farm. an idyllic sanctuary where thoroughbred race horses who were once at the end of the line now have a future with endless possibilities. Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance has once again given a significant grant to MidAtlantic Horse Rescue to provide ongoing support for our rescued thoroughbreds Adorable and very sweet.
