WELCOME to GLAD The Great Lakes Arts District Project The Great Lakes Arts Foundation in collaboration with 555 Arts of Detroit are excited to announce our new project to elevate and promote the art scene in SE Michigan. The purpose of this collaboration is to build a destination and hub for creativity and ingenuity in the arts. We need over 100 acres of land to fulfill this remarkable plan. This innovative space will feature a contemporary art museum sculpture garden and arts programing as the main attractions.
