The Association's mission is to lead the fight to cure and treat Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) through global, cutting-edge research, and to empower people with ALS and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support. These goals are met by providing research funding, ALS clinic support, monthly support group meetings, and patient services, and also by organizing and sponsoring "Walks for ALS" throughout the year and state.
