Western Nebraska Community College Foundation
The Western Nebraska Community College Foundation received a donation from the Shane Aulick family to purchase a Freightliner Bucket Truck for the WNCC Powerline Construction & Maintenance Program in Alliance. The truck came from Northwest Rural Public Power District. On Friday, WNCC President Greg Dart met with NRPPD, the Aulick family, Powerline Advisory Board members, faculty and students from the program.

April's Book of the Month is Lyrical Cartography, a collection of poems by WNCC English Instructor, Brian Patrick Croft with cover image and interior illustrations by WNCC Art Instructor, Yelena Kahnevskaya. Croft describes his work as “subjects ranging from the origin, and burden, of knowledge, the loss of family and of identity, the wonder of love, and the finding of place, this collection of poems reveals the complexities with which we are all presented in our lives while remembering the beauty, and the richness, afforded us by simply “being”. ” Check it out.
