YogaCaps, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that builds a healthy and resilient community by bringing therapeutic yoga experiences to those with chronic physical and mental health conditions at hospitals and community centers. “Thriving with Yoga" offers free classes, five days per week for the following special populations including:• people with the experience of cancer (including family member/caregiver), substance abuse, HIV, mental health diagnosis• people who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices• veterans and seniors, including those in nursing care Lifestyle diseases are being managed and reversed with RxRelax Therapeutic Yoga.We adapt the practice of yoga to the targeted needs of people with specific or persistent health problems. As such, our approach is different from public yoga classes in the community. YogaCaps is the largest, most established yoga service provider of its kind in New England. We also provide RxRelax Therapeutic Yoga Training for Healthcare Professionals, as well as seminars, retreats and individualized yoga practice capsules across the USA.
