Burholme is a non-profit community-based organization providing emergency and non-emergency patient care and transportation to the residents of our service area. Distinguished by its long history of volunteerism and community service, Burholme adapts to changing community needs with services that are consistently responsive, caring, high in quality and efficiently delivered. By building on its progressive traditions, the organization anticipates an integral role in serving the medical care and transportation needs of the community and the larger region.

Education - VMSC EMS Important Update Burholme First Aid Corps Has Merged with VMSC Emergency Medical Services As of January 1 2025 Burholme First Aid Corps has officially merged with VMSC Emergency Medical Services to strengthen and expand emergency medical care in Philadelphia and Montgomery County. This merger allows us to enhance Advanced Life Support ALS mobile health services and communitybased EMS care while continuing the proud legacy of both organizations. Burholmes operations will now be part of VMSC Emergency Medical Services. Education Training VMSC Emergency Medical Education Programs VMSC provides a wide range of emergency medical training from CPR First Aid and AED training to a full Paramedic program.
