During their stay the travelers have had the opportunity to visit with SCJs at the Generalate community in Rome, where Fr. Tom served for 12 years as a member of the General Council. A BRAZILIAN VISIT TO SD - As a part of their visit to the US Province, the delegation from the Faculdade Dehoniana, our theology institution in Taubaté, Brazil, are touring Dehonian ministries in South Dakota this week. Many thanks to Frater Truc Tran, who shares these photos from stops in Lower Brule and Fort Thompson. Accompanying the Brazilians are Dr. Paul Monson, VP of Intellectual Formation & Academic Dean at Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology and Dr. Jeremy Blackwood, Associate Professor of Systematic Theology. Also traveling with the group is Fr. Levi Dos Anjos Ferreira, SCJ, vicar general of the Priests of the Sacred Heart. The US and Brazilian Dehonian institutions have been meeting this week to discuss possibilities for future collaboration.
