AIA Georgia's function is to increase the public's knowledge and awareness of architecture and the role architects play in the built and and planned environment Founded in 1954, AIA Savannah, the Savannah Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, is a professional service organization serving our community as stewards of Savannah’s distinguished architectural heritage. THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO PROMOTE CONTINUING EDUCATION AND PUBLIC OUTREACH THROUGH GRANTS FOR WORTHY PROJECTS SPONSORED BY SEVEN AIA GEORGIA CHAPTERS AND TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS AT GEORGIA ARCHITECTURE SCHOOLS.
