The Back Bay Therapeutic Riding Club (BBTRC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, youth, and adults with physical and developmental disabilities. Mission

BBTRC provides therapeutic horseback riding and other specialized activities designed to enhance physical, cognitive, and psychological well-being. BBTRC is a 501(c)(3) organization and a proud member of PATH, Intl., the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship. Its staff includes certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors and Equine Specialists in Mental Health & Learning, who are EAGALA certified. This certification underlines their expertise in equine-assisted therapies.

Volunteer Opportunities

Despite requiring no prior equine experience, volunteers are integral to the club's operations. They support the staff in providing care to the horses and assisting with riding sessions.

Sanctuary Role
