Friends of the Delaware Canal Friends of the Delaware Canal The Friends of the Delaware Canal is an independent nonprofit organization working to restore preserve and improve the Delaware Canal and its surroundings. Our primary initiatives are to support The Pennsylvania Department of Natural Resources DCNR the Delaware Canal State Park to maintain a fully watered canal and usable towpath trail from Easton to Bristol.
