Austin Area Art From The Streets
Art From the Streets is a nonprofit offering Austin homeless or at risk a safe place to create art and generate income, while nurturing their artistic side. AFTS provides a safe and encouraging environment for persons experiencing homelessness and who are at risk. These artistic endeavors form a pathway to self determination, social connections and income generated through the pursuit of their art. The mission of Art From the Streets is to provide a safe and encouraging environment in which the positive spirit and creativity of homeless and at-risk people are nurtured through their own artistic expression.
