In the year 2020, Batavia will break ground on a beautiful memorial in honor of Dr. Bernard J. Cigrand, “Father of Flag Day." PROVIDE EDUCATION AND EVENTS CONCERNING THE HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN FLAG, MEMORIALIZE BERNARD J. CIGRAND AND TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN A MONUMENT CELEBRATING PATRIOTISM AND THE AMERICAN FLAG AND TO PROVIDE PATRIOTIC DISPLAYS.
