The Legal Aid Society of Columbus (LASC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) regional law firm that serves low income residents and senior citizens in Central Ohio. We have merged with our sister legal aid program, SEOLS! Our new name is Legal Aid of Southeast & Central Ohio (LASCO). Our mission remains the same, and we look forward to continuing to offer the same great programs and services! On January 1, 2024, the Legal Aid Society of Columbus merged with our sister program Southeastern Ohio Legal Services, and together we are Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio (LASCO). While the name is different, the core legal work that we do in our service area will remain unchanged. LASCO continues to serve Southeast and Central Ohio communities through dedication to providing civil legal aid and advocacy to overcome unfairness and injustice to reduce poverty and increase opportunity.
