As the most urbanized watershed in New England, the Mystic River watershed is especially subject to stormwater pollution — when rain picks up pollutants, and flushes them down the nearest drain and into our waterways. 🌧️ We strongly support an EPA permit that would regulate stormwater runoff from privately owned properties in the watershed with an impervious surface cover of an acre or more.
