The ICR is one of the world’s most influential cancer research institutes, with an outstanding record of achievement dating back more than 100 years. Our mission is to make the discoveries that defeat cancer. THE ICR GLOBAL FOUNDATION WAS FORMED AS A GRANT-MAKING ORGANIZATION THAT WILL MAKE GRANTS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS THAT 1) STUDY DISEASES AND PARTICULARLY THE DISEASE OF CANCER AND ALLIED DISEASES; 2) INITIATE, ENCOURAGE, SUPPORT AND CARRY OUT RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES, PREVENTION, DIAGNOSIS AND METHODS OF TREATMENT OF SUCH DISEASES; 3) ASSIST IN THE PREVENTION, DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF SUCH DISEASES; AND 4) PROVIDE FOR THE EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL TRAINING IN SUBJECTS RELEVANT TO THE STUDY OF CANCER AND ALLIED DISEASES AND THE ALLEVIATION OF SUFFERING.
