Diving For A Cause
As a charitable organization, Diving For A Cause, (DFAC),provides two types of services. Our first service objective is to serve communities by working with families and children, supplying food, school supplies and community improvements at no cost. Our second service objective is to provide a means for spearfishermen to give back to those in need, using their unique skills. DFAC services that meet both of these objectives include food donation of selectively harvested fish to orphanges, schools and food banks, as well as community service initiatives such as planting shade trees in schools, repairing broken school desks, and providing backpacks filled with school supplies and books to enhance literacy. DFAC promotes fitness at the schools with the donation of sports equipment.
