Sagadahoc Preservation Inc. is dedicated to the preservation of buildings possessing architectural and historic merit in Sagadahoc County Maine to educating the public about those historic buildings to maintaining the Winter Street Center for community use. The Winter Street Church in Bath Maine pictured at left photo by Jeff Cutler was built by Anthony Coombs Raymond in 1843 and is one of the best examples of American Gothic Revival wooden architecture in New England. Now called the Winter Street Center this magnificent historic building is the headquarters of SPI central to many of our programs.
