This weekend, someone made the unfortunate choice to egg the outside of our museum. Twice. Once on Friday night and again on Saturday night. Not just our front door, but the museum sign on the back of the building too. While I won’t pretend to know the reason behind wasting luxury goods in this way, I do know that it doesn’t reflect the spirit of kindness and community we experience every single day at the museum. Our incredible staff have now arrived to work twice in just one week to clean up someone else's ugly messages. So, to whoever is making these poor choices out there: I hope you find more positive ways to express yourself in the future. Baking uses eggs, for instance, and offers many relaxing benefits that help counteract feelings of frustration.
